Englewood, New Jersey
Welcome to Englewood Baptist Church
A group of believers in Jesus Christ who are committed to Him and His Word.
Our purpose
Glorifying God together
Our purpose as a church is to glorify God by promoting His worship, building up believers in their faith, declaring to all the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and showing mercy to people in need, all as we live in God-honoring peace with one another as brothers and sisters in Christ.
We come from a variety of backgrounds: singles, young adults, families with young children, empty nesters and retirees.
Worship
The Word of God at the center
- We sing the Word of God using a blend of psalms, traditional hymns and modern worship songs.
- We read the Word of God consecutively through the Old and New Testaments.
- We pray the Word of God, drawing near to Him through earnest prayer.
- We hear the Word of God, carefully explained and applied, with the gospel of Jesus Christ at the center.
